Welcome to our little House of Design!

Welcome to our little new 'House of Design' of which as stated previously, is a traditional Maltese town house with lots & lots of character and plenty of potential! Abandoned for years she is looking extremely unloved and is in need of some tender TLC!!

The original wooden doors and windows and the rustic pastel shades of peach and pink on the weather beaten walls.

The contrast of colours are simply divine and shall be kept as features for the House of Design.

                                

The House of Booshie's hand painted sign will hang from the exterior original features, of which was originally used for a bus stop sign.

                               

She was previously a fruit & More Store, but she now looks sad and lonely and needs a total re-vamp of utter gorgeousness!

To showcase and create fabulous hand crafted art and design our house needs to look perfect! Our first job is to clear all the junk and strip away the layers of paint that tell stories of the past, to reveal the beautiful original brick work of our house.

                                       

Let us take you on a tour of 'The House of Booshie', the staircase has bundles of character and we just love the turquoise wooden doors, which will combine perfectly with a lovely splash of pink paint!

                                   

This is the favourite part of the house, a little random cut out shape in the wall, perhaps its purpose is to gain light to the staircase? Whatever its purpose we adore it!

We hope to create something new in Hal Balzan and our House of Design will create and showcase beautiful hand crafted art and crafts as well as exquisite bridal and special occasion hand crafted accessories.
